Itinerary
1. Departure and Arrival
Morning Departure: Depart from BBLUE Hub in the early morning for a scenic boat ride through the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.
2. Responsible Fishing
Fishing Expedition: Start your day with a guided responsible fishing expedition. Learn about sustainable fishing techniques that help maintain fish populations and protect marine ecosystems. Practice catch-and-release methods and understand the importance of selecting the right species and sizes to ensure the health of the ocean.
3. Visit to Buttonwood Caye
Exploration and Education: Travel to Buttonwood Caye, located near the reef drop-off. Explore the unique marine life and coral formations that thrive in this area. Learn about the ecological significance of reef drop-offs and the challenges they face due to climate change and human activity.
4. Mangrove Conservation and Restoration
Mangrove Tour: Visit a nearby mangrove forest and learn about the crucial role mangroves play in coastal protection, biodiversity, and carbon sequestration. Understand their importance in purifying water, providing nursery grounds for marine life, and stabilizing coastlines.

Evening Arrival: Arrive back in BBLUE Hub in the late afternoon, with plenty of time to enjoy the evening at your leisure.
